Blog blog blog
Create a blog. A blog? What's a blog?! Who needs a blog??!! Apparently it's the latest best thing since sliced bread (which I have just learned is extremely bad for us anyway because being packed hot into the plastic bags causes the plastic to release even more baddies into the bread!) I thought a blog was just for people with lots of opinions on lots of things who felt it their duty to inflict them on the rest of the world. But no! None of us can any longer do without one it seems. Trying to set it all up in work time hardly seems the best use of staff time for anyone other than IT wizzes but who are we to complain. Don't get stressed about all the other things not getting done in the meantime - it is going to be FUN! Woo hoo!

If you think this is fun just wait until you get to week 3!
Gosh no... we definitely don't think everyone is going to be using blogs and other online tools in their work, or that everyone will like them.
Hopefully though people will at least be aware these exist after the course. You'll find that some of the things you learn about start cropping up as offerings for our customers... who may in turn ask you .. uh, what is a blog??
Here's hoping that it doesn't take up too much time and maybe that you actually might enjoy some of it.
